Natural Veterinary Therapy

At Natural Veterinary Therapy our goal is to heal animals with natural medicine and natural therapy. We use acupuncture, Chinese herbs, western herbs, nutraceuticals, flower essences, physical rehabilitation-including an underwater treadmill, massage, and chiropractics to help your pet heal from within.

Dr. Annette Richmond is a veterinarian who graduated from UCDavis and then became a certified veterinary acupuncturist with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. She has been incorporating acupuncture, Chinese herbs, natural supplements, healthful diets, and many other natural remedies into her general practice since graduating in 1997. In 2007, Dr. Richmond opened Natural Veterinary Therapy to concentrate on healing animals with natural therapies and more gentle techniques in a calm and nurturing environment. In 2009, Dr. Richmond completed the Canine Physical Rehabilitation Certification program with the Canine Rehabilitation Institute.

Dr. Richmond practices natural medicine and takes into account all aspects of the animal from diet and exercise to previous medications and vaccines to offer a truly holistic way of diagnosis and treatment.
